Romeo en Julia

On behalf of the ROC Willem 1 in ’s Hertogenbosch, I’ve made an adaptation of “Romeo and Juliet”.

In four days we made a fine, brief presentation with attention to musicality. The theme was the pressure that parents exercise on the children to have sex. Romeo and Juliet do not appear on the scene. The short period of work meant that I quickly had to make choices. My challenge was to get the players involved in these choices.
